The Billings, Montana chapter is proud to serve the people in the city of Billings, as well as the people in neighboring towns, counties and reservations in the Yellowstone Valley, South Central Montana and Northern Wyoming.

The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a national non-profit, self-help support organization offering friendship, understanding, and hope to families grieving the death of a precious child of any age, from any cause.

There is no religious affiliation.  No individual membership fees or dues are charged, and all bereaved family members are welcome.

Founded in England in 1969, TCF was established in the United States in 1972, with 501(c)(3) not-for-profit incorporation in 1978, under which provision the organization's nearly 600 local chapters also operate.  TCF operates as separate entities in an estimated 30 countries around the world.

This chapter is indebted to all the volunteers who devote uncounted hours of service to others.  One person has served for over 40 years.  She is our very special compassionate friend, Arlene Priest.
